All glories to Guru and Gauranga !   Krishna consciousness is transcendental.  However we must understand that we are subjected to the laws of karma, only pure devotees are exempt.  Personalities like Srila Prabhupada are very rare, who although a  nithya siddha, descend to the material world to purify us. An  astrologer predicted that  “Srila Prabhupada would build a house in which the whole world will live and that at the age of 70, he would build 108 temples”.   We being Nitya baddhas, have our destiny as ordained by our previous karma , however as we understand from the scriptures, this human form of life gives us a chance to get out this clutches of birth and death. Those who come to Krishna consciousness have by Krishnas grace the Sukriti or good karma to take up this spiritual journey.  As we all understand this material journey is a very difficult one. Along this journey we will be put through several situations according to our past karma. The decisions that we make and the path we take will ultimately give us our final destination. We need to plan out our journey through this material world meticulously. We should understand very clearly that Astrology is not fatalistic, although certain things like our birth and the parents we received, are something we cannot change. There are certain aspects of life which are still within our hands in  life and what we do under the given circumstances. For example a person born in a rich family (due to his past karma) gets the opportunity to explore this world and depending on his learning and tendencies, he can use the circumstances for either to develop good habits or become a servant of his senses to simply try to enjoy this mundane world.  As we also understand from the Bhagavad-Gita, that Isvara (the Supreme Controller), Jiva (The individual soul), Prakriti (this material nature) and Kala (time), are constant, whereas Karma is not.  Hence by correct understanding we can lead a planned life and ultimately reach our Krishna conscious goal.  We at Krishna connection will assist you to work on both aspects of your life, balancing both spiritual and material aspects. My inspiration to study astrology:

All of us would have experienced some kind of a premonition, a dejavu or some kind a dream which could relate to your past or future. Like everyone else I too had some experiences and dreams and I was wanting to find a proper answer to their cause. When I came to Krishna consciousness I became aware of the nature of Vedic scriptures and naturally became attracted to Astrology. I was always interested to know if by some way I could foresee my future career, job or marriage. Although my interest was more towards the spiritual aspect, I would ask myself, IE; Can I have a spiritual career? Will I remain in spiritual life? Can these things be predicted or foreseen? Slowly as life progressed I was bewildered with more and more questions. IE, should I do an MBA or become a full time devotee etc.? I slowly began to explore Vedic astrology as an answer to my questions. I was now beginning to make the correct moves in my life. I began to study astrology more and more and now have been studying it for the last 7 years. By the mercy of Guru and Krishna I also met a very senior devotee who has helped me understand the very intricate aspects of Astrology. Gurus name should not be revealed so I will not disclose it here. I have done my masters in Yoga and the deep concentration attained through practice of yoga is helping me very much in my practice of Astrology which requires increased intuitive ability. Of course my practice in Bhakti Yoga, which includes following the four regulative principles and my vow of chanting the Hare Krishna Maha Mantra, is most essential in attaining the fixed mind, purity and inner vision needed for this work, as I realize Krishna can reveal all things necessary to guide others. I would assure all our dear devotees and friends that the utmost care would be taken in answering any of your questions.
